ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING ScotLanka Network's Annual General Meeting will be held on Saturday 21st June 2008 at KATS Hall, No1, Fountainwell Place, Sighthill, Glasgow, G21 1RB at 5.00 pm. Those who would like to become a management Committee Member for 2008/2009 should attend User Group Meeting on Saturday 14th June at Kingsway Court Community Centre at 3.00 p.m. All nomination papers should be handed over to the office of Kingsway Court Community Centre before 5.00 p.m. on Friday 20th June 2008. REFUGEE WEEK CELEBRATIONS - 2008 In the event of Refugee Week, ScotLanka Network has arranged a DJ Musical Night free of charge for every on in Scotland on Saturday 21st June 2008 from 6.00p.m. to 10.00 p.m. at KATS Hall, No 1, Fountainwell Place, Sighthill, Glasgow, G21 1RB. ScotLanka Network would like to see Indigenous Community as well as all other Ethnic Minority groups participating for this event and also enjoy some delicious Halal refreshments. KINGSLINK CARNIVAL KingsLink International Carnival takes place on Saturday 30th August to celebrate the multicultural population of the west of Glasgow. The carnival aims to be bigger and better this year. There will be a information stall for ScotLanka. Due to a lack of volunteers, we have postponed some of our projects until 2007. If you think you could spare some of your valuable time to help with our on going projects, please get in touch with us with whatever skills you have. To become a volunteer in our organisation, you do not need to be either Sri Lankan or Scottish as our organisation is open to all ethnic minorities in Scotland.
